Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care offers a full complement of hospice services for compassionate end of life care, as well as adult palliative care consultations for individuals living with distressing symptoms who may not be eligible for hospice or who choose not to enlist hospice services. Programs also include extended bereavement services to assist loved ones through the grieving process both during hospice and following loss of a loved one.
What is hospice?
Hospice offers comfort and support to patients with life-limiting illness and their families when life expectancy is six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Our certified teams provide skilled medical, emotional and spiritual care to achieve the best possible quality of life with dignity, peace and comfort.
Hospice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care provides services wherever you are living so you may live your life as fully as possible while keeping comfortable in a place you call home, surrounded by people who care about you.
Exploring hospice shortly after a life-limiting diagnosis gives patients and their families time to understand all options for care and to choose those which offer the best quality of life. When the primary treatment goal is comfort rather than cure, hospice can provide emotional, spiritual and physical support.
Care is covered by most insurance providers, and when you choose Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, it is never too early to call.
